ICM photographers - top rated and recommended
Following years of ICM study there are many ICM artists that I continue to follow and would recommend to others. Following is a brief introduction to some of my favorite ICM photographers and a brief synopsis of their styles as reported by others
Top rated ICM photographers
Andrew S. Gray
Style & Approach: Controlled, rhythmic ICM movements emphasizing structure and chromatic harmony; his work often abstracts nature into geometric, pattern-like forms.
Notable for: Turning camera motion into compositional rhythm with precision and graphic balance.
Erik Malm
Style & Approach: ICM as composition of light and color through sequence-like motions that almost “orchestrate” hues and textures across the frame.
Notable for: Complex motion patterns producing vivid, crystalline abstractions.
Pep Ventosa
Style & Approach: A Catalan fine art photographer best known for his unique “In the Round” technique — a specialized form of ICM involving capturing many photos around a subject and blending them to create impressionistic, multi-layered composites. His work investigates the space between photography and painting, collapsing time and perspective into rich, abstract visuals.
Notable Projects: Trees In The Round, The Collective Snapshot, Art’s Magnetic Field.
