first look series

As photographers we continuously explore, experiment and create new work. Even for the most exceptional, results may not wholly successful and unlikely to make it into a photographer’s portfolio.

In this ‘first look’ series of posts I plan to publish results of my experimentation in instances where feel others might find value, either through ideas for their own work or simply seeing the results that may be lacking the quality to make the grade.

First look images may not be the final product, view more as a virtual contact sheet for review. With the benefit of time and reflection some of the images may evolve into portfolio-worthy pieces, but that is not an expectation.

So read and enjoy, I truly hope you gain something from my experiences.
