It all started when…
The initial reaction to a picture is like that of a book cover - it should draw the viewer in and create a desire to learn more. The image itself should project a story, encouraging the eye to investigate and further enhance the experience of the viewer. Yet in many cases the story goes beyond that - an untold story of how the image came about can strengthen the connection between viewer and image.
Discovery of the background story has often increased my appreciation of the work of other artists, and would like to add my own in the hope that others may enjoy.
